Lucy Henshall
Postdoctoral research associate in Onchocerciasis and Schistosomiasis
I am a parasitologist with experience in molecular ecology and spatio-temporal statistical analysis. I obtained my PhD from the University of Aberdeen where I researched wild plague reservoir and vector systems in Madagascar. My research interests are primarily in disease ecology systems and the interface of wild systems and disease transmission.
I joined the Lamberton lab in late 2025 to work on Onchocerciasis and Schistosomiasis drug efficacy and spatial population genetics. Outside of work I am very passionate about crafts, cats and exploring nature.
